PARTSMAP Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026. Version 2026-10-21.
Your Content and Marketing Permission
What counts as Your Content. "Your Content" means your company name, trade names, logos, trademarks, photos, product and parts listings, business details, and other listing data that you upload, post, submit, or provide through PARTSMAP's websites or apps, or that you tag PARTSMAP in or send to PARTSMAP's social accounts while you have an account.
You own your content. You keep full ownership of Your Content, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other rights in it. We don't claim ownership of anything you provide, and nothing in these Terms requires us to use it.
Permission to run the service. You give 9D Industries LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, format, display, and distribute Your Content as needed to operate, provide, and improve PARTSMAP. This license ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for reasonable backup copies and anything we must keep by law.
Permission to use it in our marketing. You also give 9D Industries LLC and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (only to platforms and service providers that help us publish or promote our content) license to use, reproduce, edit, crop, caption, adapt, publicly display, and distribute Your Content to promote, market, and advertise PARTSMAP, 9D Industries LLC, and their products, services, and events. This applies in any media, including our websites, apps, social media accounts, paid ads, email, print, video, and events. We decide whether and how to use Your Content; we may credit you but aren't required to, and you won't receive payment for these uses.
How long this lasts. Your account and the permissions in these Terms stay in effect until you close your account or ask us at legal@9dindustries.com to close it, even if your trial or paid plan ends or you stop using PARTSMAP. We don't close inactive accounts on our own. After your account is closed, we stop starting new uses of Your Content within 30 days, but anything already published, scheduled, printed, or in distribution can stay up.
You give us permission to display your company name, logos, and trademarks to identify your business and in our marketing, as described above. This doesn't transfer any trademark rights, and we won't suggest you endorse us beyond what's true.
This permission is part of using PARTSMAP. Giving us the marketing permission above is a condition of using PARTSMAP. If you don't want to give it, don't use PARTSMAP. If you want to opt out later, you have two options: contact us at legal@9dindustries.com to ask for a separate agreement, which we may offer, decline, or offer on different terms, or stop using PARTSMAP and close your account. If you opt out either way, it applies going forward only: we'll stop starting new marketing uses of Your Content within 30 days. Anything already published, scheduled, printed, or in distribution before then can stay up and keep running, and we don't have to remove it.
Your promises to us. You confirm that you own Your Content or have every right, license, and consent needed to give us these permissions (including from anyone who appears in it and the owners of any music, footage, artwork, or trademarks in it), and that our use as allowed here won't violate anyone's rights.
Indemnity. Your indemnity for Your Content and these promises is in the Indemnity section.
Company registration
Before a company can list on PARTSMAP, it must register accurate company information: its legal name, address, contact details, and an authorized representative. The person who registers confirms that they're authorized to bind the company and to grant these permissions for its name and marks.
Indemnity
Indemnity. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 9D Industries LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any third-party claim, and the damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that come from it, arising out of Your Content, your listings, or your breach of these Terms or of your promises above. We'll tell you promptly about any claim. We may take control of the defense with counsel we choose, and you'll cooperate. You won't settle any claim that affects us without our written consent.
SEMA 2026 Trial
SEMA 2026 Trial. Companies that register through our SEMA 2026 offer get a free 1-month trial of our Starter plan. No payment card is required to start. When the trial ends, your account stays open on Free Listing, and we'll never charge you unless you pick a paid plan and enter payment details yourself. One trial per company.
